From the minute I walked into Renee’s salon, I knew I had found my hair ‘peoples’. Renee really listens to understand what want - she’s upfront about what is possible for my hair type. Before she gets started, I’m always super clear on what to expect, my hair result, price of service and the timing. All very important!!I also just love the energy in the salon Renee and Julia create. It’s a soul soothing place to be :)

I have been getting extensions for 10+ years and I have never been as happy with my hair as I am after visiting Renee Yates.I have tried all kinds of extensions, clip in, tape, weft, micro tape, micro weft, invisible bead, great lengths. I’ve been to soooo many different hairdressers and I can FINALLY say after 10 years I have found my soulmate hair dresser.The hair is incredible, and I love how it mimics my natural hair. My partner (who hates my addiction to hair extensions) has commented that this is the first time that you can’t actually ever see the extension. They blend so well.But even better than the hair quality, is the quality that Renee puts into doing hair. She is an artist.From the first time I met Renee, she analysed my hair and came up with the best way to colour and place the extensions to work with my individual hair, head, face everything. Other hairdressers have pretended to do this, but no one has ever done this like Renee. I truly trust her styling.Renee remembers everything about my hair as well as my personal life, every time I get my hair done it feels like I’m catching up with an old friend who knows me personally.Renee trains her staff with the same perfectionism and Julia who does my colour is also amazing. She ensures that I can go a full 6 month without needing a touch up (and for blonde hair that’s insane).One last thing to finish off my long (but deserving) review- Great Lengths is ethical/conscious hair. If you’re getting other hair extensions I challenge you to look into the dark side of the hair trade, it will upset you.I know that when I’m getting great lengths, I’m getting fair trade ethically sourced hair and when it’s finished being on my head, it’s going into a wig for someone in need.

I had finally grown back my hair after chemo, when it started to thin due to the ongoing medication. A cruel turn of events. I looked at several solutions and found Renee's instagram and Google reviews. I knew from the amazing reviews and stunning before and after photos that I had found the perfect solution. I have been going to Renee's salon for three months now and fully intend to continue. She fitted my extensions and I couldn't be happier. Very natural and a huge difference to what my hair had become. Chemo is indiscriminate and takes a huge toll on the body and confidence, so to just look normal is a big confidence boost. And did I mention she is the most beautiful soul who takes such pride in her work.Now I have to talk about Julia, who I see weekly for a wash and dry. She is an amazing hairdresser who will not stop till she has cracked a solution as to why something won't work with your hair. She is a pleasure to be around and i always leave the salon feeling amazing. The two of them are a powerhouse of solutions. I would have given a hundred stars if i could. :)

Renee is amazing and such a lovely person. From the minute I met her I felt at ease and I absolutely love my extensions. Renee has the comfiest chairs for washing your hair! I was so impressed that the chair goes flat and doesn’t hurt your neck at all. I’ve been to lots of different salons and when they wash my hair, my neck is always sore from being bent in an awkward position. Don’t have this problem at Renee’s. My hair colour looked amazing and Renee did a fantastic job with my hair. Would definitely go back again and again!

I have been seeing Renee for years for my hair and can honestly say she is the best absolute hair stylist. She is an expert cut and colourist as well as being incredible at extensions. I’ve never left her chair not feeling 110% satisfied and happy with my hair - which any woman knows is a huge deal as it’s very hard to find someone who is that consistently GOOD at hair. On top of that Renee delivers a truly personal, caring service every time you see her. Months can go by but she will still remember exactly what was happening in your life the last time you saw her - that’s not hair related but just shows the type of person she is (amazing!) and gives you insight into her genuine desire and care to give you an exceptional hair experience, that for me is about the whole process from start to finish. Can not recommend her and her team enough!
